Understanding Win Rates
Win rates are calculated differently based on game type:
Competitive Games
Win rate = (Number of 1st place finishes) / (Total games played) × 100
Ties count as wins for all tied players. For example, in a 4-player game where two players tie for 1st, both receive a win.
Cooperative & Solo Games
Win rate = (Successful outcomes) / (Total attempts) × 100
Simple win/loss tracking. The team either wins together or loses together in cooperative games.
Leaderboards
Leaderboards rank players by wins for competitive games:
- Primary ranking: Total wins (1st place finishes)
- Tiebreaker: Fewest games played (efficiency)
- Shows win rate percentage
- Includes all family members who have played
- Updates automatically when new sessions are logged
Example: If Player A has 10 wins in 20 games (50% win rate) and Player B has 10 wins in 15 games (67% win rate), Player B ranks higher due to better efficiency.
Head-to-Head Records
For competitive games, see your performance against each opponent:
- Games played together
- Your wins when facing them
- Their wins against you
- Win percentage in head-to-head matchups
This helps identify rivalries and shows who your toughest competition is in specific games.
Session History
Every game detail page includes a complete session history showing:
- Date and time played
- All participants
- Final placements or outcome
- Scores (if tracked)
- Duration (if recorded)
Session history is paginated (10 sessions per page) with newest sessions first. This provides a complete audit trail of all plays for accountability and nostalgia.
